The wilderness camp opens in winter 2025

Svansele Wilderness camp

Our wilderness camp is a place for tranquillity and inner peace. Enjoy a bath under the stars and the warmth of the sauna after a long day in the forest. There are sleeping huts among the trees, small cabins for overnight stays, four wood-fired hot tubs, two saunas and even a slide into the water.

But just as the forest needs silence, and the land sometimes needs rest, so does our camp. Until then, we let the place breathe, while we take care of what needs looking after.

We expect to open for bookings in the autumn.

What happens at the wilderness camp?

What are we actually doing? It's all based on the fact that we think the camp has so much more to offer than it has so far. Some of it will be surprises, but some of it we can share!

Relaxation Area

We're preparing to give the relaxing area with fireheated sauna and hot tubs a facelift with crisp bathrobes and a few more surprises to enhance the experience.

The buildings

The camp has great facilities for meals and socialising. In 2025 and 2026, we will invest in making the facilities even more cosy.

Repairs

During the autumn and winter, we will refurbish the slide, among other things, and ensure that it can also be used during the summer.

Frequently asked questions

You can register your interest in renting the camp now.

Group size: We often get requests from smaller groups who want to rent the wilderness camp. This is definitely possible, but since the entire facility is wood-fired, it means a high cost per person for small groups. Therefore, we usually recommend that you are at least six people to book the huts, and at least eight people if you want to use saunas and hot tubs.
