We've grown - both in the kitchen and in ambition. With big ideas (and not least a bigger kitchen), we're now opening up to more possibilities: catering, weddings, memorials and larger group bookings will soon be a natural part of Svansele. But don't worry - we're not so wild that we've lost our way.

One innovation is that we think in seasons. Our menus are adapted to the changing seasons and what is in season at the moment.
It simply tastes better that way.

We welcome groups all year round. We are open for conferences, but also for associations, companies, bus groups and other groups who love nature and want to experience something unique. Do you think of conferences as rigid meetings with empty notebooks? Where the decor is so clean and minimalistic that the whole mind is cleaned away? Not here.

Welcome to our largest room, in the centre of the wildlife exhibition. Here you sit on reindeer skins, under flying birds with the fauna next to you in a room built of mixed wood, just as the name suggests. And yes, we have really good coffee. For real.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant Vildsint welcomes your group with the warm scent of fire, tar and wood.

There is room for 84 people in the dining room and we have a lot of experience in receiving different types of groups through, for example, associations or tour operators. We have accessible premises and toilets.

Vildsint - a new chapter for Svansele<\/h2><\/div>

Svansele Wildlife exhibition was born in 1996 out of Thorbj\u00f6rn Holmlund's love for his home region, for local history - and perhaps above all for nature and its cycles. For many years, everything looked almost the same, and it was beautiful that way. But nature itself never stands still. And neither do we.

Vildsint is a continuation that honours the roots but dares to take a turn. With a sustainability mindset in the kitchen, an updated menu, a new design and a new approach that wants to highlight V\u00e4sterbotten from completely new angles.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Simply put, Vildsint is the new name of our restaurant - but in practice it is so much more.
We know that we are so much more than just game board (which of course still exists). <\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

What are we doing differently?<\/h3><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n

Just like nature, we live with the seasonal changes. We have used our classic V\u00e4sterbotten culinary skills, pickled and fermented with a smile on our face. We reduce waste and compose new dishes according to the seasonal supply with love of nature. We've baked, we've invented wild desserts and we've made sure that our menu is equally good for everyone - regardless of allergies and special diets. We believe it's for the best.

What are the minimum and maximum numbers to book with you?<\/p><\/div>

For the simplest set-up, a combination of lunch and exhibition, groups need to be at least 20 people (during the open days there is no minimum). There is no direct maximum number.

For combined activities, we can accommodate groups of 6-8, depending on the programme.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

We have a set menu for spring, summer, autumn and winter. In addition, there will be small surprises. We also serve Viltbr\u00e4da, but at a different price.

We are very flexible when it comes to catering, events, weddings or memorial services. Contact us with your thoughts and ideas and we will make sure to come up with suggestions that suit you.<\/p><\/div><\/div>
