Quad Bike Tours<\/h5><\/div>

The quad bike is ready. So is nature. Together with our guide, we'll tailor a tour specifically for your group. The guide will show you the way, the pace will be adjusted to suit you, and we'll decide on the exact route based on your wishes and nature's conditions. When it's time for a break, we'll have fika where it's best today. Sometimes outdoors by a fire with a view, sometimes inside the kota at Utmarken, sheltered from wind and weather. There will always be hot coffee in your cup, something delicious to eat, and a moment to unwind together surrounded by fantastic nature.

The short tour<\/strong> - 1.5 hours driving time
SEK 1 350 incl. clothing and equipment and forest coffee. One person per machine.
Intermediate hours<\/strong> - 3 hours driving time
2 300 SEK incl. clothing and equipment, forest coffee and sandwich.
2 445 SEK incl. clothing and equipment, forest coffee and lunch.
Full day trips<\/strong> - 6 hours of experience, as long as you want.
3 550 SEK including clothing and equipment, forest coffee and lunch.

It is possible to book overnight accommodation with dinner and breakfast, as well as a wood-fired sauna and hot tub by the fire in Utmarken. You can also book overnight accommodation in Knute's Guesthouse<\/a>

Husky-Walk<\/h5><\/div>


Man's best friend and a warm, soft, loving and mischievous encounter. Huskies are built to move \u2013 and they're happy to bring humans along for the ride! In the spring, there's plenty of energy but the pace is a little calmer after all the winter sled tours. You'll meet properly before setting off and moving around pine forests and waterways. With a harness and lead, you'll soon be a real team!

Svansele \u2665 fishing. A long missed favourite is finally back. Imagine an early summer morning, with dew still resting in the grass and birds singing in the forest. The water lies perfectly still, with only insects dancing across the surface. Then suddenly, there is a pull on your rod, and adrenaline rushes through every part of your body.

Book a full day fishing tour with our experienced guide, who will lead you to hidden spots around Svansele where you can catch everything from pike to Arctic char and trout. Or try your luck fishing from a boat on the Skellefte River.

The fishing tours are half day experiences with lunch and fika included.

Hiking in Svansele<\/h5><\/div>


We are surrounded by three nature reserves, and you can hike between them. The landscape around Svansele is remarkable, telling the story of life\u2019s cycles across generations. Here, you have the opportunity to walk through pine forests and heathlands stretching across not just one, but three different nature reserves. The most well known is Svansele Damm\u00e4ngar, where a beautiful stream winds through a landscape that today feels untouched, yet still carries traces of the lives and movement that once shaped it in the struggle for survival. You can follow marked hiking trails on your own, or book a guided hike to gain a deeper understanding of the culture and nature surrounding you.

Did you know that Svansele, besides its rich flora and fauna, is also rich in mushrooms? In the dry pine heaths, you will find classics such as porcini, but this is also home to one of the world\u2019s most exclusive delicacy mushrooms. Goliatmusseron, better known internationally as Matsutake, thrives perfectly here.

We gather together while our guide reveals some of his favourite hidden spots. Afterwards, we come together to fry the mushrooms and enjoy them with simple local flavours.

Mushroom seasons vary from year to year, but the best chances are between the end of July and the end of August.

Traditional Swedish Bread Baking<\/h5><\/div>


With us, you can choose between soft flatbread or ljusugnsbr\u00f6d, a traditional thin bread from V\u00e4sterbotten that requires both technique and patience. But do not worry, with our hostess by your side, even the tricky parts become possible. She teaches you the craft from the very beginning, just as it has been done here in the villages for generations. No machines, only rolling pins, hands, and time.

Once everything is finished, you gather together to enjoy the freshly baked bread with plenty of butter and local treats inside Annastugan\u2019s own little time capsule, a fika parlour preserved from the 1950s.

At Utmarken, you leave the stress of everyday life behind. Below, a cold spring flows through the landscape, surrounded by nature reserves and hiking trails. The air is crisp and clean. The sauna is rustic and wood-fired. The hot and cold tubs are heated the traditional way. For those who dare, there is even a slide down into the final plunge.

The food is prepared over an open fire. The coffee too. Everything takes the time it takes, and tastes better because of it. Stay overnight or visit us for the day.

You can also add a spa ritual with organic products.

When it is time for a break, we stop wherever the setting feels best that day. Sometimes by an open fire with a view, sometimes inside the kota at Utmarken, sheltered from wind and weather. Sitting on the ice waiting for the fish is a feeling that is difficult to describe.
But that is exactly what it is.
You lower the line into the freshly drilled hole and wait. Around you, nothing but white ground, pine forest, and sky. It is not boring. It is exactly enough. And soon, the fish bites.

In the middle of the day, we light a fire and brew coffee over an open flame. It tastes completely different out in the cold, and you will understand exactly what we mean once you are sitting there.

Whatever you catch, you of course get to keep.

Snowshoeing<\/h5><\/div>

It looks easy. And it is, for a while. Then it quickly turns into a workout.

Snowshoes take you into terrain that would otherwise be unreachable. Through the forest, across the marshes, along frozen stretches where no tracks exist. Every step sinks a little and carries you a little, and that is exactly why you afterwards feel something that is difficult to put into words. Tired, but in the right kind of way. Calm.

We guide you through the landscapes around Svansele, show you the way, and tell you about the nature surrounding you. Here, you have the chance to experience the landscape, the wildlife, and everything that lives here when no one is watching.

You do not need any previous experience. You just need to be prepared for the fact that it is a little more demanding than it looks. When we find a good spot, we light a fire and brew coffee.
